Maine Craft Weekend (MCW), a statewide tour of Maine craft studios, breweries and businesses, is an opportunity for the public to explore the life and work of craft artists and craft brewers in Maine. MCW is a public, educational, community oriented, family friendly weekend October 14 + 15, 2017.

A working textile art studio with silkscreen,surface design and free motion stitching demos throughout the weekend at my home studio. Will have textile art wall pieces and hand printed textile items on display available to see and for sale.
The Maine Crafts Guild, in celebration of American Craft Week, will present the Brunswick Fine Craft Show on October 7 & 8, 2017 in Brunswick, Maine at the Fort Andross Mill Complex. This American Craft Week event will offer excellence in fine craft designed and handmade by professional Maine artisans. Admission: $4 adults; under 18 free.

All the work will be divided by artists' last names – approximately 1/3 will hang at the Curtis Library and 2/3 will hang in the Parish Hall.
Previews: Two public previews are held:
September 21, 6-8 pm (Thursday evening, before the Friday event)
September 22, 12-3 pm (Friday afternoon before the show opens)

The Maine Crafts Association presents the third annual Portland Fine Craft Show

This festive show shuts down a portion of Congress Street in downtown Portland to vehicles and is free and open to the public
The Portland Fine Craft Show features over 100 juried craft artist exhibitors from greater New England exhibiting fine craft in the following media categories: baskets, ceramics, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, paper, stone and wood as well as outreach booths exhibiting the work of international artists new to Maine and food trucks in Longfellow Square.
